Through the front doors of Quartermain House B&B into the stately lobby guests are taken back to a time of gracious and elegant architecture. The high ceilings, crafted details, striking staircase, wood floors speak of the richness of this home's heritage.
Guests will enjoy and use the beautiful foyers on both levels, parlor on main level along with the front porch and seating under the shady trees. Free Wifi access on both levels. Ample Guest parking at back of property accessed off of Shore Street or by front porch at end of driveway off of Waterloo Row.
The Guest Foyer Level
The Guest Foyer Level has comfortable seating, large fireplace overlooking a river view and the TransCanada trail. A warm relaxing space located right outside your room.
The Dining Room
The Dining Room is a bright sunny room where a savoury breakfast is served. There is also a wet bar with filtered water for guests to make a proper cup of tea, expresso machine and fresh baked treats.
The McNair Library
The McNair Library welcomes guests with a view of the Saint John river and "green" walking trails. Floor to ceiling shelves house an eclectic and interesting book collection. French doors close to create a cozy haven for guests. In cooler weather the gas fireplace warms the room. Cards and games can all be enjoyed around the large solid coffee table. It also pops up for guests to work, play or enjoy a glass of wine.
